Liverpool Heart and Chest

Liverpool Heart and Chest
AIMES Grid Services, is supplying the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with disaster recovery and colocation services, including the implementation of an electronic patient records (EPR) system. By replacing current paper based systems, electronic patient records will enable staff to have all the information they need about a patient’s medical history  in one place, at the touch of a button. AIMES was appointed on the strength of its technical infrastructure, which not only offered the capacity and security required to run such an application, but was also proven to be the most cost effective option over the length of the contract.

Renal Registry

Renal Registry
AIMES have been chosen to provide connectivity and hosting for the Renal Registry (RR) and have assisted the RR in designing the network architecture to obtain ATP (Authority to Proceed). The purpose behind the Renal Registry’s acquisition of cloud services is to allow RR patients the option to either grant or refuse consent for their data to be made available to the registry in its complete state. AIMES have made it so that built in safeguards can ensure that non-consent patient data is suitably anonymized to ensure patient confidentiality. This centralized repository will have as close to real time updates as possible, this “real- time” update capability will be available from the patient’s own input to the individual Renal Units patient records updates, including but not limited to; blood test results etc...

Great Ormond Street Hospital

Great Ormond Street Hospital
AIMES provide a securely hosted cloud storage solution for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s genomics data, allowing them to further their research in genetics. It is crucial for GOSH to utilise a trusted and secure cloud storage solution, which must maintain a certain level of flexibility, in order to digitise images, which their previous systems were unable to handle.

NIHR BioResource Centre Cambridge

NIHR BioResource Centre Cambridge
Initially AIMES worked on a consultancy basis, translating the functional requirements of the NIHR into an N3 and internet cloud based environment appropriate to deliver their services. With the help of Dr Roger James, his delivery team and third party suppliers, the solution was modular, scalable and compliant to the relevant data protection guidelines and legislation.

Endeavour

Endeavour
Endeavour relies on AIMES for network connectivity, as well as a secure infrastructure and interoperability solution, which brings in patient data for effective analysis. This analysis is crucial for improving care and performance.

Liverpool Women’s

Liverpool Women’s
AIMES provide Liverpool Women’s hospital with a data analytics cloud platform, in which they can upload patient information nightly, to a secure data warehouse. This input covers patient information such as medical records, medicine, and scan records. The information which is submitted aides the intelligence engine, powered by AIMES, to help medical specialists to plan and run the hospital smoothly.

Bridgewater

Bridgewater
BRIDGEWATER originally required AIMES for an alternative secondary data centre, however they have now began using AIMES as a primary data centre, moving their racks to our secure health specialised data centre. AIMES provide data centre facilities and network connectivity, as well as the environment for developing cloud services out of AIMES.
