We are proud to announce that AIMES, in collaboration with ST Helens and Knowsley Health Informatics, have successfully secured a place on the NHS Shared Business Services Cloud Solutions Framework. St Helens and Knowsley Health Informatics is an award-winning IT Service Provider and will work closely with AIMES; Liverpool-based cloud and data specialists, to support NHS organisations on their cloud journey.
Our shared objective is to provide cloud services through the framework to NHS organisations who may be stepping away from traditional hosting methods or in the process of cloud transition. The two organisations will work together to ensure complete cloud success and full return on investment for NHS trusts and organisations.
We will offer the following:
- Organisational readiness assessments and support
- Streamlined approach to procurement of cloud infrastructure
- Full user support and guidance

Glenn Roberts, Business Development Director at AIMES shared the following, “We are delighted to be in partnership with St Helens & Knowsley Health Informatics Service, they are one of the most forward- thinking and innovative NHS technical teams I have worked with. I look forward to building on these opportunities together and supporting all NHS and public sector organisations to make a successful transition to cloud working. Changing the way, you work can be daunting but with our joint support and expertise, particularly from an organisation from within the NHS that has already made this move, organisations and their users can realise the benefits that this type of infrastructure brings about”.

Christine Walters – Director of Informatics at St Helens & Knowsley says “This is an exciting time for us. To be in partnership with one of the leading NHS cloud and data services providers gives us additional leverage to be able to support other NHS organisations in their move to cloud-based ways of working. We have already transitioned several our key applications to the cloud which has enabled us to bring costs down and deliver even smarter ways of working. With the support of AIMES, we want to share best practice across the NHS and the wider public sector to achieve excellence in the provision of digital service in the healthcare arena”.
St Helens and Knowsley Health Informatics Service and AIMES have also recently been granted positions on the G-Cloud 11 framework, which allows public entity organisations to have full visibility to cloud-based solutions and complete supplier information whilst purchasing cloud services through a compliant framework.
AIMES have been working successfully for over 10 years delivering innovative digital solutions across the healthcare market.
Working together in partnership with St Helens and Knowsley can only bring further success for our NHS partner organisations and trusts.
