AIMES were delighted to be invited to speak at Alder Hey’s “Making it work in the NHS” event on Friday 29th March at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The event was put on by the Health Innovation Exchange of which AIMES are a proud partner (http://healthinnovationexchange.com/). The Health Innovation Exchange project aims to connect Liverpool City Region businesses with world-class health, care, technology and commercial resources.
During the event AIMES gave a number of talks on different areas of the NHS and wider healthcare sector. Heather Glover, Technical Architect gave an overview of “Types of Data and Record Systems in the NHS”. Dr Ed Conley, Chief Scientific Officer spoke on “Governance and Permissions” of data. Richard Spragg, Technical Director provided insight into “Connections and HSCN”. Finally, Michael Walker talked about the importance of “Developing Roadmaps” when building relationships within the NHS.
