Kilby House Build Progress – Early June

Keysource have completed the formation of the suite 1, the communications, switch rooms and chiller plinths of AIMES new Data Centre and work is proceeding apace on the installation of the fire detection and suppression systems and erection of the containment. Last week also saw the arrival of the air handling units and this week, short at only three days, will be extremely busy as Keysource install the air handling units, chillers and raised floor areas. Utilising an existing structure has minimised the carbon impact of the construction and as the configuration of the building facilitated the conversion, particularly given Keysource’s expertise in the creating and implementing highly efficient modular solutions, problems have been minimal and progress good.
